Welcome and thanks for visiting. We are now on the fourth UGF, and this year we are back bigger and greener than ever, packed full of workshops, speakers, childrens' activities, food, fun and practical cost-effective solutions. Please browse our site and check out the days activities in more detail.

We have lots of new features, including a new Spoken Word Marquee, displays from TfL, and a raffle - prizes include

As the economic cuts begin to bite, and funding for community events dries up, its even more important to support local grassroots events like ours, so please do. Buying a raffle ticket will help, as will making a donation at the festival, or you can donate via Paypal from our Support page.

Thanks is due to all our speakers, participants and workshop leaders, the volunteers that help in the production and set up, the community groups that take part, and especially our zone co-ordinators who work for months putting together a fantastic programme forged only from dedication and love..
