TFL Sustainable development
At TfL, we recognise the importance of making sustainability central to the way we work. This means maximising the environmental, social and economic benefits of our operations, while minimising the negative impacts, as far as possible.
As a socially responsible organisation, our role is more than getting people from A to B quickly, safely and providing value for money. We also want to contribute to a better quality of life for Londoners, now and in the future. Our sustainable development framework helps us to identify and address sustainability issues. We also are a founding signatory to the International Association of Public Transport's Charter on Sustainable Development, which means we are committed to incorporating sustainable development as an organisational objective. www.tfl.gov.uk
