The Health and Healing Zone champions and demonstrates sustainable and holistic health models. Our society tends to focus on corrective methods - those that treat illness. At the Health and Healing Zone we will demonstrate a complete health model of health, both preventative and corrective. Preventative models of health are those which focus on maintaining your health to stop you from getting ill. You can get fun ideas on preventative health throughout the day. Last year's highlights included free Qi Kong from Sifu Lobo and Nia from Beverley Drumm.

Corrective models are those which treat illness. The main model in our society is to take manufactured medicines. There are, however, alternatives. Collectively we know them as the healing arts. At the Health and Healing Zone you will meet alternative health practitioners who will give demonstrations, talks and workshops throughout the day.
Last year's highlights included talks from the Brixton Therapy Centre, on their different therapies. They had practitioners on-site providing therapies including shiatsu, Indian head massage and reflexology.
